Limited edition Rum inspired by the Mayan legend of the Aluxes, guardian gods of the land. To celebrate the harvest and give thanks to the Aluxes, the Mayan would hold an enchanting feast of chocolate and corn.
Cihuatán Alux, finished in Oloroso and Cognac casks, has been crafted by Master Distiller and Blender Gabriela Ayala to have notes of cashew nuts, ginger, cinnamon, roasted corn and chocolate.
