Just Landed: Langatun Château Kefraya Cask Finish
Langatun Château Kefraya Cask Finish
The latest wine cask matured whisky from Langatun has been finished in a cask from one of Lebanon's most prestigious vineyards. Distilled in 2013 and initially matured in a French Chardonnay cask this whisky has been finished for two years in a red wine cask from Lebanon’s Château Kefraya vineyard. It is a limited edition of just 508 bottles.
The 300 hectare Château Kefraya vineyard was planted in 1951 and is located in the Bekaa Valley at 1000 metres above sea level. The cask aged wine produced from Syrah grapes for the vineyard's award winning 'Comte de M’ series, which celebrates the Bekaa valley’s Phoenician heritage.
