Great Taste and Editor’s Choice

Two accolades in one week for our portfolio! Angels' Nectar Islay Rioja Cask Edition has been awarded Two Stars in the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards. Reviewing our Angels’ Nectar Islay Rioja Casks Edition, the judges commented:

'What a beautiful and unusual colour- a pale rose gold/peachy colour which looks really appealing. The nose is confident and we really liked the contrast between the delicate colour and the Islay punch of the Islay profile. The nose is peaty but also has hints of florality. The palate starts fairly gently which again makes for a really intriguing and engaging liquid journey. What a lovely long finish too, delivering complexity.’

Meanwhile the Langatun Château Kefraya Cask Finish has been named 'Editor's Choice' in Whisky Magazine. Phoebe Calver, Deputy Editor, commented ‘Well this is quite frankly delightful. Toasty, rich, comforting - please can I have some more?!’.
